Long and lanky describes Chief's physical look, while gentle but active is the fun part of Chief, our young adult, probably Doberman/German Shepherd dog mix. His tail doesn't fit either breed, but Chief is a handsome dog weighing in at a lean 65 pounds. He may be part German Shepherd dog, but he doesn't shed much - must be the Dobie in him.
Chief enjoys being with other dogs, but doesn't really play with them. He prefers the attention of people. Chief is not good with cats or small dogs - he does play too rough with these animals. Chief would make a good looking walking/running companion for an active person, or just a nice dog to enjoy your company in the back yard.
Chief is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and current on heartworm preventative. A $250 donation is requested for the adoption of Chief.
